SSC GD 2018

SSC or Staff Selection Commission of India conducts SSC GD every year to recruit eligible candidates to the post of BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, Rifleman etc. SSC GD Notification 2018 has been released on 21st July 2018 by SSC. SSC GD Recruitment 2018 haas started with the release of official Notification.

SSC GD or SSC General Duty is one of the most reputed exam conducted by SSC every year. The candidates are selected for the post of Constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and Rifleman. SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2018 & Syllabus:-

Your Selection is based on 4 stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  4. Medical Examination

#1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

For Written Examination: This is an online written exam constituting of 4 sections to be completed in a time span of 90 minutes. Around 100 questions will be asked carrying 1 mark each. 1/4th of the total mark of a particular question is deducted if attempted wrong by a candidate.

SSC GD 2018 Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational Qualification: A Candidate must have passed 10th Class or equivalent from a recognized board while applying for SSC GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen).

Age Limit: A Candidate is needed to be between 18 to 23 years. Certain Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules and laws.
