Eligibility conditions: The eligibility for AC(GD) through LDCE will be as per the RRs of the respective Forces. It will be the responsibility of respective CAPFs to scrutinize the application accordingly before forwarding it to Nodal Force .

AGE

The upper age limit for appearing in the LDCE will not be more than 35 (Thirty Five) years as on lst August of particular vacancy year.

Relaxation of Age:- Relaxable by five years for SC/ST candidates.

SERVICEThe candidate should have completed 04 years regular service as on lst January
of particular vacancy year in the rank of Sub-Inspector / Inspector,
including period of basic training.
SERVICE RECORDS(a) Minimum GOOD ACRs last 04 years.
(b) NQS with punishment or Punishment in Ordely Room will be treated as “Blemished Record”
(c) Warring advisery should not be treated as “Blemish”
(d) “Unblemished Service Record” till the Issue of offer of the Appointment.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Graduation from a recognized University as applicable to Assistant Commandant (Direct Entry).

  1. Qualifying marks for Gen/OBC Candidates will be 45% in each paper and 50% in aggregate. 
  2. Qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates will be 4O% in each paper and 45% in aggregate.

 

Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The candidates who qualify in paper-I & II of written examination will only be called for Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test at place specified by the Nodal Force by constituting a Board of Officers. The Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted as per standards prescribed for direct recruitment of Assistant Commandant(GD) in CAPFs. Physical Efficiency Test shall comprise of the following components which will be qualifying in nature but failure even in one event will amount to disqualification.

(I) As per MHA ID No.45020/05 l2O2|-PPl897 dated 31 l08l2022, on reporting of female candidates for PST (Physical Standard Test)/PET (Physical Efficiency Test), a self declaration indicating about her pregnancy status shall be submitted. She may be allowed to participate in the PST/PET only if she declares that she is not pregnant. In case of false declaration, all the risk for undergoing PST/PET will be of her own. If the female candidate declares that “she is pregnant” before PST/PET, then a confirmatory pregnancy test will be done and in case she is found to be pregnant, irrespective of duration of pregnancy, she may be declared temporary unfit and her appointment shall be held in abeyance ti11 the confinement is over. One vacancy should be kept reserved for her in case she makes in the fina1 merit list She should be reexamined for PST/ PET six weeks after the date of confinement, subject to the production of the medical certificate of fitness from a registered medical practitioner. If she is found fit and finds place in the merit 1ist, she may be appointed to the post kept reserved for and al1ow the benefit of seniority in accordance with the instructions of the Government, as amended from time to time. In case female candidates is found negative for pregnancy, she may be allowed to participate in the PST/ PET and other subsequent processes.


(II) One officer of the rank of DIG will be nominated as Appellate Authority at PST/PET venue to dispose off PST/PET appeals, if any, of candidates on the same day.

Interview and personality Test

The Candidates who qualify written examination by securing required aggregate percentage of marks in Paper-I, II & III, as well as qualify Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test would be called for interview by the Nodal Force. The Interview will carry 1OO marks and the break- up of marks will be as under:-

Note: In the interview, there are no minimum qualifying marks but attendance is mandatory. Marks obtained in
Interview/ personality test will be accounted for during drawal of fina1 merit.

DME (DETAILED MEDICAL EXAMINATION)

The candidates who qualify the written examination, PST/ PET and Interview, shall be eligible for undergoing medical examination to be conducted by the duly constituted Medical Board of concerned CAPFs. The medical examination will be conducted as per revised Medical Guidelines issued by MHA vide UO No.A.VI-1/2014-Rectt(SSB) dated 20.05.2015,F.No.32012lADG(Med)/DME&RME/DA-1/202o(Part File)/ 1166 dated 31.05.2021 and amended from time to time for recruitment of GOs and NGOs in the CAPFs and AR. There would also be a provision for Right to Appeal as per the existing guidelines. The Review Medical Examination will be in continuation of Detailed Medical Examination. However, there is no provision of appeal against Review Medical Examination (RME) and the decision of RME board would be final.

Pregnancy at the time of PET will be disqualification and pregnant female candidate can be rejected at that time only. However, if any such women candidates who as a result of tests and the time of medical examination is found to be pregnant of 12 weeks standing or over shall be declared temporary unfit and her appointment will be held in abeyance until the confinement is over.

MERIT LIST

On completion of above processes in all respect (stage wise), the Nodal Force shall prepare the force wise and category wise final merit list of the candidates for each vacancy year separately, as per the eligibility of the candidates for respective Forces and the result will be declared in two phase one for year 2o24 and other for 2O25. A list of finally selected candidates (Force wise) will be sent to respective Directorate General by the Nodal Force for issue of offer of appointment.

Clarification: If a candidate fulfi1s all the eligibility criteria and qualifies all the stages for both the vacancy years 2024 & 2025 and finds place in the merit for both years, then for giving him/her the benefit of seniority, he/she will be considered first for the year 2024 followed by 2025. Further, if a candidate is eligible for only one vacancy year, his/her selection will be considered for that particular vacancy year only, irrespective of marks obtained in comparison of candidates eligible for other vacancy year.

Tie Principle:
In case, two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks, the tie(s) will be resolved in accordance with the following principles:
(a) If the marks in aggregate are equal, the candidate getting more marks in written total will be ranked higher.
(b) If the marks in written total are equal, the candidate getting more marks in Paper-l (intelligence Test and General Knowledge) and Paper-II (Professional Skill) will be ranked higher.
(c) If the marks in Paper-l (Intelligence test and General Knowledge) and Paper-II (Professional Skill) are also equal, the candidate senior in age will be ranked higher
